Venture Capital is a pool of investors ready to invest a substancial amount of money quickly. Fund managers send out prospectus, a document selling them on the investment fund, to potencial investors inviting them to participate.
Startups usually choose the VC funding scheme when they are ready to go public. Above, it gives the crypto startup some legitemacy.
